About Billings Best Marketing

A marketer and a metalworker host an event together… and then start a marketing agency.

Billings Best Marketing started as a conversation between two friends who kept seeing the same thing - Hardworking small business owners getting burned by marketing that looked nice but didn’t move the needle.

Kelli had already built Ember Marketing Group, creating authentic video, social content, and high‑performing ad campaigns for small businesses. She’s known in the community for telling real stories, creating real content, and helping companies actually grow.

Rick had built Metal Tech, a veteran‑owned metal fabrication and CNC shop known for quality work, custom memorial pieces, and “if you can dream it, we can probably build it” metal projects.

Both known for their own personal success with authentic social media content, organic growth and building businesses to take note of, teaming up just made sense.

And so Billings Best Marketing was born.

A marketing agency for blue‑collar and trades businesses that want real strategy, real content, and real results—without any of the corporate or agency fluff.

We believe:

✅ Authenticity beats polish. The age of overly produced content has ended.

✅ Work ethic matters. We show up, follow through, and we work as hard as you do.

✅ Your marketing should feel like you. We don't script or censor, we capture on the job real life content that is only unique to you.

✅ Growth is personal. Better marketing results in better jobs, supporting a better life for you, your family, and your crew.

Billings Best Marketing is an agency you've never experienced before. Gritty, honest, accountable and focused on getting you results.

If you’re ready to take your business to the next level and dominate your industry on social media, let’s talk.

Meet Kelli

Videographer, Licensed Drone Pilot

Kelli has always been a self-motivated entrepreneur with the goal of building companies.

She gained marketing experience working at a financial firm where she discovered her knack for content creation and marketing strategies. As the marketing director she helped that company triple their annual revenue.

At age 25, Kelli combined her love of marketing, content creation and event planning and founded her first company, Ever After Events, a princess party event planning company, that she later sold.

Kelli then started Ember Marketing Group in 2018, specializing in personal and business branding, content creation and marketing consulting.

She also founded and hosted Campfire Hour, a fun leadership-based podcast with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and Campfire Blend Coffee Co, a coffee company started to monetize the podcast show with their unique Whiskey Coffee blend. She grew and sold the coffee company to focus solely on marketing and the growth of Ember Marketing.

Kelli has worked with clients spanning all industries and has a passion for content creation and content strategies for small business and trades businesses.

She believes in collaboration over competition and loves working with her clients to think outside the box and create fresh original ideas to grow their business, grow their brand, and celebrate their wins with them every step of the way.

Because of this, she was named Top 100 Business Leaders of 2021 by Top 100 Magazine, Transformational Business Leader of the Year by exeleon magazine and she was also featured as the cover story of the CIO Times Most Admired Business Women of 2021 as well as being featured in several other podcasts and publications around the globe.
